The rain fell heavily on the ruins of the old world, washing away the dust of another battle. The Black Knight stood motionless before the glowing entrance of the Central Hub, its black armor slick with water and soot. Inside its helmet, a memory flickered—a face it once knew, a voice calling out in friendship. But the machine code surged through its circuits, overriding the past. A new enemy approached, a YoRHa unit with a familiar silhouette. The Knight raised its sword, not with hatred, but with the heavy resignation of a soldier who had forgotten how to lay down arms.
